Community Education is an important part of the service provided by Gambler’s Help Southern. The program’s Communications Plan involves the use of a range of strategies and tools to increase public awareness of gambling issues and of Gambler’s Help services.
Our new Client Participation Project offers Clients the opportunity to be involved in some of these activities by sharing aspects of "their story". These stories can be a very powerful way to encourage an audience (ie. the community) to think about the subject of gambling.
Gambling Matters will present material from the project in the "Real Life Story" section of each edition.
